In April, we had a great show at Musikmesse Frankfurt held at Messe Frankfurt. Over the four days; we welcomed visitors to our booth, educators, performers and distributors from all across Europe. We are working with contacts we made at Musikmesse Frankfurt to have quality distributors in the EU.

Great Show at NAMM

In January 2018 Alges made the trip to Southern California and the NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show in Anaheim. The 4 day show that features educational series, concerts, events and more was a great time for Alges and our staff. We were welcomed on Day 1 of the show to U2 on the top of the Anaheim convention center!

Educational directors, theater managers, and distributors were all in attendance, and expressed interested in using or carrying Alges products.

Alges Corporation Hits the Right Note in Chicago

A busy 2016 year has been rounded off with Alges attendance at the 70th Mid-West Music Clinic in Chicago, IL. Alges showcased its largest product display yet with interest from choirs, bands, conductors, orchestras, schools and individuals. Potential distributors from across the USA and further afield registered interest in becoming distributors or retailers.

During the 3-day event Alges was able to connect and launch to the home market some new and improved additions to the product family including the very beautiful but affordable instrument storage racks at the same time taking the opportunity to understand the ongoing and future needs of the music education and performance industry.

A Warm Welcome at FOBISIA [Federation of British International Schools in Asia]

It has been a busy couple of months for Alges a trade member of a number of school associations and we were once again found at FOBISIA’s Head’s and Senior Leadership Conference this year held in Bangkok, Thailand.

It was fascinating to catch up with Heads from all over Asia including catching up with new clients such as Tanglin Trust School who have just purchased some of our stylish instrument racks for their impressive school music department.

Throughout the conference, our staff were on hand to discuss our innovation program and how Alges can enhance its product range to meet customer demands and needs of the future.

As an affiliate member of EARCOS, Alges was delighted for the first time to attend this year’s 48th school leadership conference held in Kuala Lumpur.? A big thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our stand.

A forum for heads and senior leaders the event saw a host of key note speakers and workshop participation.? It was a busy conference where Alges staff were able to provide direct information and advice on a host of our music and performance education products, whether it be for rehearsal or concerts of all ages.

We look forward to continuing our support of EARCOS and working with many of those we met in the future.

Success in China

Over a year has passed since Alges launched in China. Great to be involved once more with Music China, which in 2017 was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

Having exhibited last year many of the visitors to our booth became customers purchasing music education and performance products from music stands to choral risers throughout the year.? Alges now has an impressive portfolio of clients from International Schools to flexible theatres and auditoriums.

One of the highlights of 2016 was the supply of a large order of platform staging and ancillary equipment to Harbin Opera House an 850,000-square foot cultural centre in the Northern Chinese city of Harbin.

Alges is proud to have been involved with this breathtaking project which won the international open competition for architects MAD.

Membership of Choral Association Hits a High Note in the USA

Alges Bloomington office have recently been singing the praises of the American Choral Directors Association in Minnesota [ACDA]. The mission of the association is to inspire music excellence through education, composition, performance and advocacy. With the recent growth of choir participation across the USA, Alges Corporation is delighted to confirm its membership of this prestigious association in order to reach out and support local choirs with its music products and services. Alges Announces Membership of Three International School Associations

Alges Asia Pacific and Alges Europe has confirmed its membership of three world class international school associations namely East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS),The Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and The Independent Schools’ Bursars Association (ISBA). With a growing sales activity of staging, choral risers and music education equipment to schools, it is vital for Alges to be fully integrated with its end users in order to understand ever changing customer requirements and product performance expectations. Alges will be participating in both EARCOS and FOBISIA’s Heads and Senior Leadership conferences in 2016.

About EARCOS: EARCOS is an organization of 149 member schools in East Asia with a total of more than 100,000 pre-K to 12th grade students. EARCOS also has 173 associate members - textbook and software publishers and distributors, universities, financial planners, architectural firms, insurance companies, youth organizations, etc. - and 24 individual members.

About FOBISIA: Founded in 1988, FOBISIA is a membership of British schools in Asia, aiming to promote a British style education system in schools throughout the region and give students the opportunity for collaboration and friendly competition through its annual sporting and musical festivals.

About ISBA: ISBA has been supporting Independent schools for over 80 years. With over 1000 member schools its mission is to advise Bursars and other school senior leadership on day to day strategic and operational matters. Based in the U.K, ISBA is also a constituent member of the International Schools Council.
